The Bereavement Cafe

The Bereavement Café, is a sanctuary of solace and understanding led by the compassionate Jane Dixon. Recognising that 1 in 29 children endure the profound loss of a parent or sibling before they turn 16, the Bereavement Café offers a crucial support network for those grappling with grief.

This initiative holds a special place in our hearts, as the harsh reality of such a loss resonates deeply with us – a sentiment understood all too well through loss in our youth.

The Bereavement Café is more than a support service; it’s a community of empathy and healing, guiding individuals through their journey of grief.

Enterprise Adviser

We're proud to volunteer in the Enterprise Adviser scheme, where we dedicate our time and expertise to help young people regain confidence in their future amidst years of uncertainty.

Our involvement in this initiative is particularly meaningful to us. It provides an avenue to share our experiences, skills, and networks, directly contributing to the development of effective career programmes in schools. We believe in empowering the next generation, aiding them in navigating their path after education with greater clarity and confidence.

Through my volunteer work with the CIPD Manchester Branch, I dedicate my time to supporting fellow professionals, mentoring emerging talent, and championing initiatives that drive positive change in the field.
